Abstract

This study explores the concept of spiritual resilience as an essential factor contributing to mental well-being from an Islamic psychological perspective. Drawing on Qur’anic teachings, Prophetic traditions, and contemporary psychological frameworks, the paper highlights how faith-based coping strategies, such as reliance on Allah (tawakkul), remembrance (dhikr), and prayer (salah), foster inner strength and emotional balance. Spiritual resilience enables individuals to navigate life challenges with patience, hope, and meaning, thus promoting psychological stability and reducing the risk of mental distress. By integrating Islamic spirituality with modern theories of resilience, the paper emphasizes the importance of holistic mental health approaches that address both the spiritual and psychological dimensions of human existence. The study concludes that adopting Islamic psychological principles can enrich therapeutic practices and provide culturally relevant solutions for Muslim communities facing mental health challenges.
